Tips for Healing

Self love is key.

You need to know your worth and value, and how to communicate your needs and boundaries to others. This can only be done when you have a positive relationship with yourself.

Start taking care of yourself.

A good daily routine that prioritizes things like getting enough sleep, focusing on your physical health and emotional wellness and setting a schedule that suits your lifestyle will ensure you’re setting yourself up for success.

Practice deep breathing and grounding rituals.

There are lots of breathwork videos available online (YouTube and Insight Timer are great places to start) and grounding can be as simple as finding ways to spend some of your downtime outdoors.

Meditation and gratitude.

Spiritual practices such as meditation and gratitude can help to calm your mind, and help you maintain a positive energy. You can’t heal yourself by hating who you are and where you are at, so anything you can do to improve your mindset will ensure you’re in a good place emotionally to deeply work on yourself.

Start a journal.

For some people, this is done electronically like on their phone notes app or something like Google Docs. For others, they write in a book. You can get creative with this, or keep it simple. You’ll quickly learn there are very few rules in life. Write from the heart or search online for some prompts to get you started.
